Further Information
At the heart of the mattress is a coir fibre mat. Coir comes from coconut husks and is cleaned, dried and coated with a natural latex solution to make the coir more supportive and breathable. The fibres act like thousands of natural springs to provide support. Coir fibre is also naturally mothproof with anti-bacterial and anti-dust mite properties making it safe for baby’s developing respiratory system.

On both sides of the coir, is a natural latex sheet. Natural latex comes straight from the rubber tree and its superior cell structure conforms perfectly to the body’s contours to offer premium support for baby or toddler.Latex foam is also self-ventilating, free of odours, environmentally safe and offers maximum durability when compared to the conventional spring mattresses.

In true bertini style, the mattress is beautifully covered in 100% unbleached cotton quilted with pure lamb's wool. Wool fibres are a natural climate zone - cool in summer and warm in winter - so baby stays dry and comfortable all night long. |
